Pasta salad with pesto is cold served, wonderfully refreshing and a soul food for many of us. We hope you will love this pasta salad!
The Ingredients For The Pesto Pasta Salad
Pasta salad without noodles would be pretty stupid after all! It is best to choose a sort you like, as they perfectly absorb the pesto by their shape.
Mozzarella And Basil
Little sweet mozzarella beads for the top. The spice of basil tastes wonderful and gives your pasta salad the last kick.
With the green pesto you are spoiled for choice. You can either make the creamy sauce yourself, or you can go back to a delicious shop.
Finally, there are again aromatic, local tomatoes! We chose small cherry tomatoes this time, but the big ones are also great.
Of course, you can prepare the easy and quick pesto pasta salad to your taste. How about dried tomatoes, peppers or rucola for example? Also roasted pine nuts or sunflower seeds fit perfectly. These ingredients are certainly extra tasty.
Roast pine nuts in walnut oil, then place in a salad bowl. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces, finely chop the garlic and add to the bowl. Drain the pasta well and mix it warm with the previous ingredients. When the lettuce has cooled, stir in the pesto and add the parmesan. Just before serving, add the washed and dry-dipped rocket.
