Chicken And Pecan Salad

Nice chicken salad perfect for serving over lettuce. Chicken, celery, red grapes, and pecans topped with a ranch style dressing.

Ingredients -
1 Chicken Breast, cooked and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 stalk Celery, bias sliced
1/2 cup Seedless Red Grapes, halved
1/4 cup chopped Pecans
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Sour Cream
2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
2 tablespoons Ranch Dressing
1/8 teaspoon Dried Tarragon
Salt and Pepper, to taste
 
Preparation:

1. In a medium salad serving bowl, combine chicken, celery, grape halves, and pecans.

2. In separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, granulated sugar, ranch dressing and tarragon.

3. Toss the chicken salad mixture with the dressing.

4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Pecans

Toast whole or chopped pecans in the oven as an added treat. Place on cookie sheet in 200 degree oven until the aroma fills the kitchen and the natural sugars begin to cook and brown the pecans.
